How the sea monitoring system works
All swimming spots in Rovinj are part of the national water-quality monitoring programme run by the Institute of Oceanography and Fisheries. Samplings are carried out multiple times per week during the season, and the results are publicly available. For the 2025 season, a total of 36 bathing areas are shown.
Water quality in 2025
The 'excellent' rating was awarded to 36 out of 36 swimming spots in Rovinj. This is in line with the EU Bathing Water Directive and means that microbiological parameters are below threshold values. Examples: AC Amarin - Ispod restorana, AC Amarin - Molo, AC Amarin - pješčana plaža.
Temperature and seasonal conditions
Adriatic sea temperatures around Rovinj typically reach between 24 and 27 °C in July and August. The latest available measurements are shown on each beach profile.
